Marine Heatwaves in the Indonesian Seas

Abstract

This thesis examines the characteristics and drivers of marine heatwaves in the Indonesian seas using satellite sea surface temperature and reanalysis data. It focuses on event duration, intensity, spatial patterns and the role of air–sea heat flux.
