- Using OISST satellite observation data to monitor marine heatwaves in the Indonesian seas and identifying long-term characteristics of the region;
- Determining the contribution of heat flux and the Indonesian Throughflow to the occurrence of marine heatwaves in the region;
- Investigating the dominant climate drivers affecting the region.
